I'm fairly easy going about this so do not hesitate to ask.

The Rakdra, specifically, Kiniss, was developed for roleplay originally. I loved Kiniss so much I fleshed out more breed informaion and created other Rakdra. Eventually I commissioned artwork of some of them and commissioned a custom Breyer Stablemate to represent Kiniss. I hope to add customs of other Rakdra in the future.
Lifespan: 85-100years
Mares are rarer than stallions.
Mares give birth to one foal, on rare occassions twins. She can give birth once every fifth year. Most are capable of giving birth into their 60s but there have been mares who have given birth into their 75th year. It is an extremely rare occurance noted by a handful of breeders. Gestation is between 11-12months.
Can only be bred to another Rakdra.
Types:
A - Miniature, under 9hh
B - Pony, average 13-14hh
C - Riding Horse, 15-17hh (can be any type - stock, light, gaited, sport)
D - Draft type, average 17-18hh
Very Rare - Type A
Rare - Type B and D
Most Common - Type C
Least Common of Type C - Gaited
Ultra Rare - A Rakdra with wings or a horn. Someone said they heard about one from a friend who heard it from a friend, etc. There has been no research to disprove they exist so they are being listed here but have not been given a type yet.

Rakdra prefer a warmer climate and are not overly active in colder temperatures.
One should never approach a Rakdra without announcing you are there unless it can see you as they will strike when startled. Not all Rakdra are venomous but those that take on the coloring of venomous reptiles/snakes are.
No one is sure of their origin. A small herd of Rakdra were found a very long time ago. There was great interest in the strange coloring and long tails. The herd was rounded up and in the years to follow the creature has been bred into several types from a small miniature to large draft. Most often kept by type by it's breeders the Rakdra isn't often sold to others unless it's another breeder. Until recently it was a very closely guarded secret. In recent years the older more established breeders that kept them that way have passed on and the next generation of breeders is coming into their own. They've decided to introduce the Rakdra to others and share the special beauty of these animals.
Rakdra are omnivores though some lean more one way or another. If a foal is brought up on a varied diet they will always prefer it. Most breeders see that their herd is given a wide range of foods.
Usually bred by type. Coloring having no bearing on choices for which Rakdra to cross with another for many breeders though there are those that keep to one or two basic color varieties.
More breed information to follow soon.

Most horses currently have either commissioned artwork of them or colored lineart representing them until I can have models done of each individual.
I have included artwork or colored lineart here or have linked to colored lineart that can not be used off of DeviantArt.

Please note, lineart/artwork may not fully represent the animal it depicts. Most are just to show color/patterns/etc. A more accurate model representation will follow once it's been created.
