Hello! Welcome to L'velkyn Phreng. Please take look around. I hope you find inspiration here!
Work in progress of L'velkyn Phreng.
I don't usually like doing About pages but I wanted to share with you how L'velkyn Phreng came to be, so bare with me.
I have always loved fantasy. I've read, written and roleplayed it for decades. I read so much that the local library lifted it's restriction on how many books I could check out at a time when I was a kid. I was creating fantasy equines on various toy/model horses ages before I knew about the model horse hobby. I'd sculpt scenes using various things for those I created. I wrote stories. I think the first time I roleplayed I was about 10, if not younger. A neighbor and myself. We lived and breathed it for years. Verbal, written and even a very primative larp, but we did it. Our written roleplay continued up until I was in my 20s.
More than a dozen years ago I discovered DeviantArt. For several years I watched people roleplay via visual art, telling stories in descriptions or journals. Nearly a decade ago I began roleplaying the same way with some people I'd met on the site.
Through the years I've created many a character and creature. Some developed all those years ago in my stories and rp'ing with the neighbor. Some through the years as I wrote or roleplayed with various people. Many more ideas hit while rp'ing on DeviantArt. So many fantasy types that keeping them in the 'mundane' world needed to change. My stable needed to find somewhere else to have these wonderful animals. So I rp'd the owner stumbling upon a portal that took them to a hidden realm where all kinds of fantasy creatures existed.
I roleplayed on DeviantArt until a bad bout of depression gripped me. I've had trouble with anxiety and depression my entire life but the last dozen years or so have been extremely bad. I go through longer and longer periods of being too depressed to do anything.
I have finally been motivated to do stuff I enjoy again and now that the model horse hobby has started showing fantasy creatures the love they deserve I wanted to share my breeds and species with others in hopes of inspiring them, maybe even see some of them created into model form.
Which leads us to L'velkyn Phreng.
I have roleplayed with a few friends the last few years here and there, both written as well as via Dungeons & Dragons. One of these is a cross over between written and D&D characters. There are drow and part-drow characters. One of my all time favorite written characters now has children, there is drow in their background. The little I've roleplayed the older teen twins I have come to love them both.
When I decided to add the fantasy stuff to my model horse hobby site I wanted to incorporate that hidden realm into it but just using Hidden Realm seemed so...mundane. While working out some details I needed for one of the twins above I remembered there was some drow language sites online and thought I'd check one out. That hidden realm became L'velkyn Phreng.

Where dragons fly and Rakdra play, lies the hidden realm!
You'll find fantastical looking creatures as well as animals that appear mostly like real world creatures but the breed and or species is from my fantasy based writing/role-playing. Like in the case of the Chamirra or Kalturri.
